Holly Russo, RN, MSN, MS, ECS
Holly Russo brings nearly 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry to her role as president and CEO of PatientCraft. Holly uses her 340B expertise to drive PatientCraft’s strategy, which infuses a layer of data analytics into managing and optimizing 340B programs. Holly and her team independently evaluate 340B programs, provide audit-preparation services and perform mock audits to identify areas of concern including diversion, duplicate discounts and eligibility. Holly is an expert at developing compliance strategies, stakeholder integration, cash card programs and patient assistance program reviews.
In her previous roles, Holly served as chief nursing officer for Sentry Data Systems, chief clinical officer and vice president of hospitals for CaptureRx and pharmacy optimization consultant for McKesson. She has a master’s degree in evaluative clinical sciences from Dartmouth College, a master’s degree in nursing with an emphasis in education from University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s of science in management of human resources and organizational management
Michael Jones, CPhT
Michael Jones brings more than 20 years of experience in the pharmacy field as a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) to his role as 340B consultant and split-billing specialist for PatientCraft. Michael has educated and trained more than 50 covered entities and contract pharmacies, helping the key stakeholders at those organizations understand 340B compliance, split-billing functionality and reporting. As a split-billing specialist, Michael audits covered entities for compliance with program rules and ensures that they understand how to most effectively utilize the tools and reports available in their 340B vendor solution.
In his previous roles, Michael served as a certified pharmacy technician and a pharmacy consultant. As a pharmacy technician, Michael was a department educator, trainer and quality assurance auditor for Memorial Hermann hospital. Michael also was as the lead pharmacy instructor for Remington College, operation specialist for CompleteRx and a consultant for Cerner Corporation.
Rick Hotchkiss, BS
Rick Hotchkiss has extensive experience in supervisory and team leader roles related to product readiness. In his role as business analyst at PatientCraft, Rick provides insight into large datasets and tools for analyses that help clients better manage their 340B program. Rick was also instrumental in the development of a 340B assessment software program.
In his previous role, Rick served as the materials coordinator for General Motors. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with an emphasis in finance from the University of Michigan and a certification in medical coding and billing from New Horizons CLC.
Mark Hotchkiss, CHP, BS
Mark Hotchkiss has more than 35 years in compliance and regulatory affairs experience in various industries, including nuclear power, petroleum and healthcare. In his role as business analyst at PatientCraft, Mark is focused on the contract pharmacy component of the covered entity’s 340B program, comparing what is on the OPA 340B database to the pharmacy service agreements to ensure they are correct. Mark provides insight and decision support through the analysis of large and disparate data sets, including trend data that is designed to be user-friendly. In addition, Mark reviews entities’ policies and procedures and makes recommendations that assist entities in being more compliant with regulations. The educational programs that Mark has designed for covered entities are interactive and interesting, utilizing green-screen effects, lighting, sound and video.
In his previous roles, Mark served as the vice president of compliance and quality control for CaptureRx and as the MM1 nuclear power plant supervisor for the U.S. Navy. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in management, business and marketing from the University of Michigan and a certification in medical coding and billing from New Horizons CLC.
Danish Palwala has more than 16 years of pharmacy experience including retail, hospital, long term care and 340B, and has worked with OPUS, QS1 and HBS pharmacy systems. In his role at PatientCraft, Danish works with large data sets to analyze data, create graphs and make data more meaningful to clients. He also helps perform 340B audits to ensure compliance. Danish has experience with a large retail pharmacy chain as a pharmacy technician and with a large, long-term care pharmacy as a pharmacy data associate.
In his previous roles, Danish served as the assistant director of pharmacy procurement and operations, pharmacy IT business analyst and 340B program manager for the NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation and also as the lead pharmacy technician for ChemRx. He holds a bachelor’s degree in health business management from Queens College, a certificate in general and vascular ultrasounds and is a certified EMT and pharmacy technician (PTBC).
Steven Zielinski has more than 20 years of experience with the 340B program. His experience working with the Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA’s) Office of Pharmacy Affairs (OPA) and his consulting work in 340B oversight has brought him national recognition. In his role as 340B consultant for PatientCraft, Steven’s primary focus is identifying areas of 340B risk and overseeing the placement of corrective measures in order to meet existing 340B rules and regulations.
In his previous roles, Steven has served as president of 340B Healthcare Associates LLC, manager of the Huron Consulting Group’s 340B consultants, central regional director for SUNRx and vice president of clinical marketing and sales for DrugAssistant LLC.
